B-BBEE Verifications

Emincne BEE Ratings offers SANAS Accredited B-BBEE Verification Services to businesses based on the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice. The independent verification process is aimed at verifying and validating the B-BBEE status of a legal entity to establish and present their B-BBEE status. Eminence Bee Ratings provides BBBEE verification services to:

Exempted Micro Enterprises: Businesses are eligible for an exemption certificate if the entity has an annual turnover of R10 million or less or is currently in its first year of operation
Qualifying Small Enterprises Verifications: An enterprise with annual turnover of between R10 million and R50 million qualifies for compliance by being on all five elements of the B-BBEE Scorecard as per the amendment of B-BBEE Codes
Generic Enterprises Verifications: Large Enterprises with annual turnover of R50million and above are required to fully comply with all five elements of the Generic B-BBEE Scorecard.

Planning & Preparation

The assigned verification analyst will schedule a meeting at the measured entity’s office to discuss the information requirements based on each element of the scorecard.

Detailed Assessment

The verification analyst will assess all information submitted and communicate with the measured entity in case any additional information is required.

On-site Verification

After acceptance of the Verification Plan the Verification Analyst will schedule the site-visit. Each element will be verified according to the verification plan.

Verification Outcome

The Verification Manager/Technical Signatory will verify that the client verification is in compliance with the SANAS R47, B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice and our internal policies and procedures. Once all the requirements have been met the final verification report and certificate will be issued.

Training

Eminence Bee Ratings offers training sessions to assist companies who are unfamiliar with the intricacies of good B-BBEE management. Our services aim to educate clients to deal with the complex set of regulations. The focus areas include planning, record keeping, preparing for verification, and executing B-BBEE Programmes.

Ownership Reports

Most organizations require an assessment of their B-BBEE Ownership only. This is to evaluate eventualities as a B-BBEE transaction, shareholders agreements or a merger. The assessments give you a scorecard or proposed ownership structure.

Scenario Planning

This is a high-level planning session where an experienced Analyst assists an organisation’s top management to assess possible B-BBEE scores based on the available data. The output is a detailed report that will enable an organisation to make decisions regarding achievable BEE objectives and time scales.
